ABOUT CONFERENCE

During the World War II, Mathematicians, Engineers, Doctors and Army Personnel used the theory of Mathematical sciences and this originates a new branch known as Operations Research (OR). After that, area of application of Operations Research has been increasing day by day. Now, it is widely used in private sectors, government sectors, business, industry and society. The researchers and practitioners put together the concepts of Mathematical Sciences and Operations Research to improve the efficiency of the organization and help the decision makers to take optimal decision. So, by this conference, a forum is being provided to OR scientists, scholars, researchers and practitioners from academics as well as industry to meet and share the cutting-edge developments in theory as well as in practices in the field of Operations Research and Mathematical Sciences. The main objective of the conference is to initiate a dialogue among the various researchers from the field of Operations Research and Mathematical Sciences. Through this conference academicians and industrialists can exchange their ideas, approaches and findings to open new avenues for Operational Research and Mathematical Sciences. Since, Bijnor occupies a central place in western Uttar Pradesh which is also near to Uttarakhand, this conference will also help to promote research activities in this region. Especially students from these two states are encouraged to participate in this conference, so that they may also get to know about the latest research activities going on, in the national arena.
